Farm Memberships:

"What is a Farm Membership to Sand Creek Farm?"  A Farm Membership to Sand Creek Farm allows the Member to have a set pick up schedule for a pre-set amount of milk along with any other items available at the farm.  Membership offers a discounted price for milk and eggs as well as many of the bulk order items; offers first access to bulk buy items; free admission to Farm Day's; discounted hog/coyote hunting rates; access to camping and wild berry picking and other special events.  Members are also offered tuition free internships and work days to learn about planting, working horses, milking cows and whatever else we are doing on the farm.

"How much does this cost?"  it costs $25 one-time, non-refundable and is good as long as the orders come in on the set agreed upon time and the items are picked up on the agreed upon date. 

"What does the consumer need to decide?" The consumer must choose to come to the farm on a set pick up schedule - weekly, monthly, every other month, or quarterly for thier pickup  and have thier order in by yahoo group database or by e-mail (if not part of a group) by 6 am Monday morning the week of their pickup.  The consumer must also be willing to say the estimated amount of milk they will need each pickup so we can determine the average daily supply we need the cows to produce. The consumer must give a 30 day notice to the farm and their group if they choose to leave the Membership program.

"How will the consumer pay?"  The consumer will pay their $25 membership fee and their first month of milk up front.  Every month after that they will be billed in advance of the month for the estimated montly milk requested.  Theys payments are due by the 1st of each month in advance of any milk leaving the farm.  All other items ordered may be entered on the yahoo database or by e-mail and they will be billed the following Mon/Tue after the pick up day and due within 7 days of that date.

"Where are the groups?"  Groups are located in the Houston, Ft. Worth, Austin, Waco and College Station areas.  E-mail the farm for exact location and contact information.
